 Alex V. Athanas: I am 22 years old and am currently studying art at Rhode Island College. I have done a number of commissioned works, and have had a number of pieces (fine art pieces) in my school's gallery. I have lived in quite a few places including Conneticut, Idaho, New York and Rhode Island where I currently reside. I have an avid interest in the Fine Arts, animation (Japanese), running, philosophy and music (Tool, Tricky, Bjork, Bonnie Prince Billy), and of course my favourite, RIFTS! I have been playing Rifts for 7 years, and have played a number of characters in that time. However my heart and soul belong to my heroic, fire-hearted High Elf Battle Magus; Aranor. I have played Aranor for over 3 years now and he is the leader of our Magic Zone based group, and has served as a thorne in the side of Alistair Dunscon's Federation of Magic since day one. The other character who I play from time to time is my wild, free-wheeling head-hunter Johnny Cross. // 2004 |
 This is EvDawg321, aka The Originator. I'm a 21 year old senior English major, with a minor in film studies. I enjoy reading (currently Charles Baudelaire's Flowers of Evil and the Duino Elegies); playing any sort of video game known to man, watching hours upon hours of DS9 (If I had a DS9 team, Quark would be the captain. That's all I gotta say). Music is perhaps the most important of my interests, the key influences being Tool, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against the Machine, Miles Davis, DJ Shadow, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Metallica, The Beatles, Del the Funky Homosapian ... the list don't stop. I like General Tsao's Chicken, Henry Rollins, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, but most importantly, I love my Rifts character Serrik. He's the hardest character I've ever played, but it's all been worthwhile. Oh yeah, I'm also currently working on my life long dream of becoming a voice actor, and I also consider myself a veteran in mystic herbology. Get off these. // 2004 Character Sheet: Serrik |
 FfW, 23, (also the webmaster of this here website) has the distinction of being the first of the crew to pick up a Rifts corebook sometime in 1994. Since then he has been enjoying Rifts on and off, mostly as a player, though he has occasionally guest GMed Ottawa Regulator sessions. His first character, an eleventh level head hunter techno warrior named Joaquin, is still active. He has also rolled and played (to one degree or another) a Cyber-Knight, an adult Great Horned Dragon, a True Atlantean Undead Slayer, and a necromantic warlock demon-spawn. As you can see, his tastes vary from the very good to the very evil to the very noble and anything in between. His interests outside of Rifts include music, film and video media, and amateur philosophy / history / design. He is also a dyed-in-the-wool technophile. // 2004 Character Sheet: Joaquin |
"I rift, therefore I am." The name’s Isaac. I’m a 22 year old college student who resides in the smallest state in the Union, Little Rhody. I’m an aspiring writer, music lover, atheist, and ardent roleplayer of many RPGs. However, though I may stray from time to time, my heart is forever with RIFTS. I’ve been a fan of the RIFTS Roleplaying Game (and Palladium Books in general) since 1994 but only seriously started playing in ’96. Most of my experience with RIFTS has been as a Gamemaster. I am the GM of our little stalwart crew and have reigned in the GM’s throne for over seven years. Some have called me a tyrant, others a prince among men. I haven’t had much opportunity to try my hand as a PC, yet I have made countless characters for when just such an occasion arises. The one PC I’ve had the pleasure of playing on a fairly consistent basis is my sociopathic Headhunter Assassin, Tyr. I am a true fan of the game, though some would say probably too much so. "K'ck" Zooey (A.K.A. Bad Boy), 1(?), is a neurotic passive-aggressive non-humanoid member of the Rifts Crew. He enjoys laying by the window in the sunlight, long rabid runs throughout the house, catching and eating bugs, escaping to the outside world, and scratching (to the point of blood letting) the other members' hands when they play (FfW and Evdawg321 have inch long scars to prove this). His turn-ons include fish flavored treats, the noise that is made when a human hand scratches a tough fabric, and the sound of people pulling up in the driveway. His turn-offs include being pet by strangers, being pet by non-strangers, any hand-fur interaction (unless he initiates), and being sprayed by water. // 2004 Character Portrait: Bad Boy |
